The Italian Church

Address: 28 Nicolae Bălcescu Boulevard, Bucharest

The Church was built in 1915 and 1916 at the initiative of the Italian community in Bucharest with the support of the ambassador of Italy in Bucharest, the baron Carlo Fasciotti.

Built after the plans of the architects Mario Stoppa and Giuseppe Tiraboschi, the church is now classified as a historical and architectural monument of the city, serving as office of the Roman – Catholic Congregation “Preasfântul Mântuitor” of the Romano-Catholic Archbishopric of Bucharest.
