The Association was founded in 1993 in Suceava by a group of descendants from the Italian immigrants established in Bucovina, who aim to rebuild the unity of the Italian community of Romania from before the communist era. In 2015 it inaugurated Casa d’Italia, a space where the identity of Italian ethnics is preserved and promoted through exhibitions of photographs and objects that belonged to the representatives of the Italian community of Romania.
